New Patient
Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Normally, with new patients, a careful, gentle yet thorough clinical examination and a full series of X-rays enable us to determine what your dental health status is. We are proud of our techniques and digital X-ray systems which minimize exposure to radiation. They produce computer images which supplement the visual examination and the very important information you provide on our health questionnaire and personal information/insurance sheet. We will then prescribe dental care, which will give you the maximum benefits of good oral health. Before the recommended care program is started, we will explain to you what is to be done, time involved, and possible alternative treatment plans. Your appointments will be set to mesh both your and our busy schedules as much as possible, making it especially important for you notify us at least 24 hours in advance should your schedule change.

We are committed to meeting your emergency needs as quickly as possible. Calling early in the day makes that easier. During non-office hours, the doctor can be reached via pager/cell phone. In the event he is out of town, calling the office number will provide other, highly competent, emergency dentists who can meet your urgent needs.

Anytime we plan treatment, you will receive an estimate of what our fee will be and we will discuss your financial options. If you have insurance coverage, we are happy to help you with the forms so that you utilize your maximum benefits. Our office gladly accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Care Credit to aid you in keeping your account current.

Our Policies:

We have three important policies in our office that we feel are important to share with you, our patient. We have found that these policies may require actions that are different from what you experienced in the past, however, we believe they are very necessary for the attainment and maintenance of health.

  1. We believe that all treatment begun should be completed. Incomplete treatment leads to problems, complications and misunderstandings. Incomplete treatment leads to loss of teeth and further disease. Therefore, this policy states that all agreed to treatment plans will be completed. Some treatment plans, because of their design or complexity, may take several years to complete. However, to begin staged treatment, your commitment to both starting and completing treatment is necessary.
  2. We reserve time for each patient and rarely do we keep our patients waiting. An appointment written in our schedule with your name on it is a bond of trust that we will be here to serve you and you will be present for that appointment. Therefore, you are expected to keep your scheduled appointment time. With a mutual respect for each other's time, should there be a completely unavoidable change in your schedule, we expect at least a day's notice.
  3. We believe we have a responsibility to use our best professional care, skill and judgment in planning and providing your dental treatment. All fees and financial arrangement options will be explained to you so that you may fulfill your financial commitment promptly and completely. We will assist you in receiving any benefits due to you from your dental insurance, however your contract is ultimately between you and your insurance company. We can not guarantee payment of their portion. We can only guarantee the best of care. No business or practice can fulfill its mission to it's patients when a bond of trust is violated by failure to pay for services.
